ASTM B381 Titanium Disk

The density of ASTM B381 titanium disk is quite small, so the inertia of molten titanium flow is small either, and the fluidity of molten titanium is very poor, resulting in low casting flow rate. The casting temperature and mold temperature difference (300 ℃) are large, and the cooling is fast. The casting is performed in a protective atmosphere. It is inevitable that there are defects such as pores on the surface and inside of titanium alloy cake, which has a great impact on the quality of titanium alloy cake. Titanium alloy cake has been used in general industry to make electrodes in electrolytic industry, condensers in power stations, heaters for oil refining and seawater desalination, environmental pollution control devices, etc.

Due to the characteristics of titanium disk, its unique silver gray tone has good performance in high polishing, mercerization and matte. In addition to its biological affinity, it can be said to be a suitable jewelry metal, which is often used in foreign modern jewelry design. However, due to the high processing technology requirements of titanium, it is difficult to cast it with ordinary equipment and weld it with ordinary tools, so it is difficult to form a production scale.
