Gr2 Titanium Plate

Gr2 titanium plate is a silvery white metal, which has many excellent properties. The density of titanium is 4.54g/cm3, 43% lighter than steel and slightly heavier than the famous light metal magnesium.

The mechanical strength of Gr2 titanium plate is similar to that of steel phase, twice that of aluminum and five times that of magnesium. Titanium has high temperature resistance, melting point 1942k, nearly 1000K higher than gold and nearly 500K higher than steel. Gr2 titanium plate is made of titanium metal and pressed into plate shape through special treatment process to become titanium plate.

The interstitial impurity elements of these three industrial pure titanium increase gradually, so their mechanical strength and hardness also increase step by step, but their plasticity and toughness decrease accordingly. Gr2 titanium plate  is commonly used in industry because of its moderate corrosion resistance and comprehensive mechanical properties.

Gr2 titanium plate has been used in various heat exchangers, towers and reactors in chemical industry, such as titanium heat exchanger, titanium condenser, titanium synthesis tower, titanium desulfurization tower, etc.
