Gr.4 Titanium Coiled Plate

Gr.4 is the strongest of the pure titanium grades. For 0-427°C working environment, intermittent temperature to 538°C solderable. The production process is: release pressure at 482-593°C for 30 minutes to 4 hours, air cooling. Anneal at 649-816°C for 15 minutes to 2 hours, air cooled. Forgings: closed heating 871-927°C, 816-871°C finish.

Industrial pure titanium is graded according to the content of impurity elements. Its strength mainly depends on the content of interstitial elements oxygen and nitrogen. It has high corrosion resistance in seawater, but poor in inorganic acids. It is generally used to manufacture various plate parts or forgings that work at a temperature of -253 to 350 ℃ and has little stress, and can also manufacture rivet wires and pipes.
