The composition of GR.5 titanium round bar is Ti-6Al-4V, belonging to（ α+β) Type titanium alloy has good comprehensive mechanical properties. Titanium alloy has high specific strength.Titanium alloy has low thermal conductivity. The thermal conductivity of titanium alloy is 1 / 5 of iron and 1 / 10 of aluminum,the elastic modulus of titanium alloy is low. The elastic modulus of GR.5 is e = 110gp a. It is about 1 / 2 of steel, so titanium alloy is easy todeform during processing.
The main components of GR.5 titanium round bar are: Fe ≤ 0.30, C ≤ 0.10, n ≤ 0.05, H ≤ 0.015, O ≤ 0.20, al5.5 ~ 6.8, V 2.5 ~ 3.5, Ti: allowance.
Mechanical properties of GR.5 titanium round bar : tensile strength σ B / MPa ≥ 895, specified residual elongation stress σ R0.2/mpa ≥ 825, elongation δ 5 (%) ≥ 10, reduction of area ψ (%)≥25。
