Gr.5 Titanium Flange

Titanium Flange is the pipe and pipe connected parts, used for the connection between the pipe end;  Also useful in equipment inlet and outlet flange, used for the connection between two equipment.  Piping flanges in pipeline devices refer to the import and export flanges of equipment when used on equipment.  Flanges are used in pairs. Different pressures have different thicknesses, and they use different bolts.  All connecting parts that are bolted together and closed at the same time around two planes are generally called "flanges"

Gr.5 Titanium Flange Content of Elements in Low Alloy Steel C: 0.15Mn: 0.30-0.60,P: 0.030,S: 0.030,Si: 0.50,Ni:  0.50,Cr: 4.0-6.0,Mo: 0.44-0.65.  

The connection method  

Flange connection is to fix two pipes, pipe fittings or equipment respectively on a flange plate, and the flange pad is added between the two flanges, which is fastened together with bolts to complete the connection.  Flange connection is easy to use and can withstand large pressure.  Flange connection is widely used in industrial pipelines.  

Folding weld quality  

The weld strength is required to reach the base metal strength at least.  The weld surface is smooth and smooth, without burning through, porosity, welding leakage, slag inclusion, edge biting, incomplete welding and other defects.  The residual height is less than 2mm.  

Folding precautions  

1: The bottom must use J506 welding rod manual surfacing, and the use of small current welding.  Weld strictly according to welding process.  

2. After welding each position, use a level to check the deformation of the flange plane.  

3. while welding with air hammer hammer weld, in order to achieve the role of stress elimination.
