Gr11 titanium bar processing method:

Our Gr11 titanium bar uses plastic processing methods (including cold processing and hot processing) to make titanium ingots into various processing materials (titanium rods, titanium wires, titanium forgings, titanium plates, titanium tubes, and profiles, etc.), not only The metal titanium has an easy-to-use shape, and the structure is improved, and the performance is improved. Titanium and titanium alloy ingots have coarse grains and poor process plasticity. Generally, the ingots before forging are heated to above the phase transition point, and the main deformation is completed in the β zone. Because the deformation resistance is low and the plasticity is high at this temperature, a large amount of deformation can be used to improve the enforceability and fully crush the cast titanium structure, while also improving productivity and reducing consumption.

The practice has proved that when the total deformation of the ingot reaches 70%~80% (that is, the forging ratio reaches 3.5-5), forging at a suitable deformation speed within the specified deformation temperature, the coarse casting structure is basically broken, and The more uniform and fine fibrous structure has improved tensile strength and shaping indexes. But in order to obtain better performance, further forging processing is still needed. When the billet deformation of the ingot is too low, the cast titanium structure cannot be effectively broken, and the performance is poor, which directly affects the performance of the further processed product. Table 1 lists the suitable deformation range for each heating of the common titanium alloys in my country.
