The important thing is that, unlike traditional ESL, it is not powered by batteries, but by perovskite photovoltaic cells.
The electronic tag comes with an almost inexhaustible power supply, and there is no need to replace the expensive and time-consuming battery. Not only is it cheaper and more convenient than the traditional electronic tag, but it also provides energy efficiency and can give up the battery that is very harmful to the human body. surroundings. Using perovskite photovoltaic cells, PESL is also a breakthrough solution because of its unique ability to communicate with retail store customers. They significantly reduce product labeling time and-most importantly-allow real-time price verification.
Although Saule's perovskite photovoltaic cell is much more efficient than the amorphous silicon photovoltaic cell used in the calculator, it also shows high efficiency under artificial light.
