1、 Different references

1. Pure titanium: titanium has silver white metallic luster. The density is 4.51g · cm ^ - 3, which is the heaviest light metal.

1. Pure titanium: melting point (1668 ± 10) ℃, boiling point 3260 ℃. The melting point is higher than that of iron and nickel. The thermal conductivity at 25C is 14.99w · (m ·℃) ^ - 1, only 1 / 6 of iron and 1 / 16 of aluminum, which is unfavorable to cutting and welding. The expansion coefficient at 25C is 8.36 × 10^-6℃^-1。

2. Titanium alloy: titanium alloy is an alloy composed of titanium and other elements. Titanium has two kinds of homogeneous and heterogeneous crystals: close packed hexagonal structure below 882 ℃ α Titanium, body centered cubic above 882 ℃ β Titanium.

3、 Different uses

1. Pure titanium: pure titanium block has high corrosion resistance in most media, especially in neutral, oxidizing and seawater media. The corrosion resistance in seawater is higher than that of aluminum alloy, stainless steel and nickel base alloy; In the industrial, agricultural environment and marine atmosphere, the surface has not changed for several years.

2. Titanium alloy: titanium alloy block has high strength, low density, good mechanical properties, good toughness and corrosion resistance. In addition, titanium alloy has poor process performance and difficult machining. It is very easy to absorb impurities such as hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and carbon in hot machining. There is also poor wear resistance and complex production process.
