Gr.12 Titanium Rod

The nominal composition of Gr.12 titanium rod (titanium molybdenum nickel alloy) is ti-0.3mo-0.8ni. It is a ti-12 alloy developed in the United States in the mid-1970s. It is a titanium alloy resistant to crevice corrosion. The tensile strength of the alloy at 300 is twice that of pure titanium, the corrosion resistance of reducing medium is significantly improved, and crevice corrosion does not occur in chloride of 150-200.

Gr.12 titanium rod is suitable for use in highly corrosive media, mainly low strength alloys. In the non aerospace field, the advantage of good corrosion resistance is mainly used. Corrosion resistant titanium alloys improve the corrosion resistance of industrial pure titanium in reducing media (such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, oxalic acid and formic acid).

Heat treatment specification and metallographic structure of TA10 titanium alloy: heat treatment specification: solid solution 1010 ~ 1150 ℃ rapid cooling.

Metallographic structure: the structure is characterized by austenite type.
