The titanium material processing volume of the whole province accounts for 65% of the country, maintaining a leading position.
Paying attention to system construction is an important part of the development planning of new material industry. At present, there are few international standards formulated by China. Recently, the naming system for titanium and titanium alloys, which was developed by BaoTi group, a subsidiary of Shaanxi nonferrous metals group, was officially released by the international organization for standardization and is applicable to more than 140 member countries. It marks a historic breakthrough in China's international standardization in the field of titanium.

By deploying the innovation chain around the industrial chain, Baoji started the construction of Baoji Titanium Valley New Material Industrial Park for the purpose of building a world-class titanium and titanium alloy industrial base.
