The composition of UNS R56400 titanium plate material is Ti-6Al-4V, belonging to( α+β) Type titanium alloy with good comprehensive mechanical properties. Greater strength than. The strength sb = 1.012gpa, density g = 4.4 * 103 and specific strength sb / g = 23.5 of TC4, while the specific strength sb / g of alloy steel is less than 18. Titanium alloy has low thermal conductivity. The thermal conductivity of titanium alloy is 1 / 5 that of iron and 1 / 10 that of aluminum. The thermal conductivity of TC4 is L = 7.955w/m · K.
UNS R56400 titanium plate has both α and β The two kinds of titanium alloys have the advantages of good plasticity, good thermal strength (can work at 400 ℃ for a long time), strong seawater corrosion resistance, simple production process, welding, cold and hot forming, and can be strengthened by quenching and aging treatment. It is mainly used in aircraft compressor disc and blade, ship pressure shell, large-size forging, die forging, etc.
UNS R56400 titanium plate also has good low temperature performance. It still has good toughness below - 196 ℃, and is used to manufacture low-temperature and high-pressure containers, such as liquid hydrogen fuel tanks for rockets and missiles.
